In this cozy little Boozyshop haul, I went a bit… overboard with lip oils (and a few accessories), because there was a big sale and I really wanted some new ones. Before we get into the makeup, I do a proper wind-down with sleepy packaging sounds—cardboard, tissue paper, bubble wrap—because I honestly got in a little trance with the bubble wrap. Then I start with brushes (Essence, Wet n Wild, and a couple Boozyshop ones), because I’m terrible at washing my brushes and I always end up grabbing a “new clean one” instead of cleaning what I should be cleaning. After that, it’s lip oil testing time: swatching, tapping, and figuring out what’s actually a lip oil vs what’s basically a sticky lip gloss pretending to be an oil (there’s a lot of those). I try W7 pH color-changing oils (these surprised me—in a good way), NYX Fat Oil (pretty, but still feels like gloss to me), Milani (smells like that nostalgic raspberry balm), and a bunch from Revolution and Essence. My big takeaway: I want a true, non-sticky oil, and I feel a bit cheated when it’s just an “oily gloss.” In the end, only a few made it into my personal keep pile—and the rest became a very generous “my daughter and her friends” pile.
