Hi there, my lovely lovely sleepy squirrels. In this video I do a very relaxed, chatty “normal” haul (with lots of tapping, scratching and crinkles), and I go through the bits I picked up at Normal when I went in early to grab Easter things for the kids. I’m showing you the non-Easter bits: a little mix of food treats for me, and some practical beauty/self-care items I always end up coming back to. For the food, I unbox and taste my soft and chewy pineapple pieces (they’re gooey, sugary, and honestly really flavorful), sniff-test a thick soy-based “oyster-style” sauce I’ve seen in loads of recipes, and show you some barbecue lentil sticks that smell intensely strong and come as little zigzaggy puffs. I also found a Werther’s Original caramel mix with types I’d never seen before (I already know the chocolate ones will probably be my favorite), plus a can of 7Up Cherry for a fun lunchtime change-up. Then I move into beauty: my reliable Garnier micellar water for sensitive skin (no reaction, no scent, and I use it morning and night), some “super soft” toothbrushes I’m a bit unsure about, whitening strips I’m going to try for 7 days, a flexible detangling brush I want specifically for wet hair, and a gentle exfoliating scrub glove because I hate how scrubs can oversensitize my palms.
