In this video I jumped back into Lemonaide Seeds (now Seeds 2.0 vibes) to see if it’s still worth it a couple years later, and more importantly—can it actually help you get out of beat block. Lemonaide is basically an AI chord + melody generator where you can generate chords, generate melodies, or do both together, and you can pick different “models” including their regular Seeds model and producer packs like Kavi (soul/hip-hop), DJ Pain, Ko On The Track, and even Lex Luger. The big takeaway: you don’t lose credits just for auditioning ideas. I like that—it’s Splice-like, where you can listen all day and only spend your seeds when you actually commit and pull the MIDI/audio into your DAW. I showed how I pick a mood (like “dark”), lock in a sound I like (those lush keys were hitting), and then drag the MIDI straight into FL Studio, throw it on something like Keyscape or Analog Lab, match the tempo, and start cooking. Once you “purchase” a seed, it’s yours for life and it stays in your library, so you can build a personal stash of starting points for quick beat sessions.
