When it comes to building the ultimate gaming PC, it doesn't get much better than this. A liquid cooled RTX 5090, combined with a top-end CPU, Godlike motherboard and one of my favourite cases of all time, the HYTE HY60! About This Video

In this build I went for a properly insane ā€œultimateā€ 2026 gaming PC inside one of my favourite cases of all time: the HYTE Y60 in black. The goal was simple—tons of power, but without building an absolute tank of a system. The other big idea was choice: I wanted this parts list to work whether you go Intel or AMD, and later in the video I compare how the Core Ultra 9 285K, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, and AMD’s 9850X3D stack up in real games. The star of the show is the MSI RTX 5090 Suprim Liquid, which brings its own 360mm AIO so you can shove GPU heat out of the case and keep noise down too. I pair that with an NZXT Kraken Elite 280 RGB for the CPU, plus a full Lian Li UNI FAN SL-INF Wireless setup (reverse blades for intake, normal blades for exhaust) to suit the Y60 airflow layout. I also walk through the build process in this chassis—vertical GPU mount quirks, radiator fitment, cable routing—and yes, I even mess up and order the wrong fan size for the 280mm rad. For performance, I tested primarily at 4K High and the numbers are wild: Arc Raiders ~184 FPS, Battlefield 6 ~150 FPS, Marvel Rivals ~139 FPS, and Cyberpunk 2077 nearly ~150 FPS. The big takeaway: the 5090 is a monster, but your CPU choice still matters depending on the game.
