In this video I’m making a basic setup of the HYPER KEYBOARD 10, and I’m keeping it simple so you can start playing fast—whether you’re a beginner or you already know your way around a keyboard. I show you where the master volume is, how I select voices (like the grand piano on 00), and how you can move through sounds with the arrows or just punch in the numbers like any normal piano. I also touch style mode: how to hit styles, use start/stop for the beat, and control your tempo with tap tempo and the tempo setting. After that, I go into the main things most people ask about: transpose, effects, Dual Voice (layering), and split. Transpose is just plus and minus—straight to the point. Then I demonstrate the keyboard’s digital effect and the “auto set” vibe that adds harmonics and a reverb-like feel, and I show you how to switch that effect off if you want a dry sound. For Dual Voice, I hold LOWER, pick my second sound (like strings), and then balance the mix using the lower/upper balance—more to the right gives you more main piano, more to the left gives you more of the second voice. Finally, I explain split mode: when split is on, the lower voice plays on the left hand and the main voice stays on the right, and I also remind you that for split to work properly, LOWER has to be on.
