About This Video

In this video I walk you through a full beginner setup of the SKY6604 digital piano, the way I’d explain it to a new owner that just wants everything to make sense. I show you the front-panel layout (quick tip: on this piano, the function labels are written below the buttons), the small display, and the key specs you should know—88 keys, 800+ tones, 600 rhythms, and 128 polyphony. I also point out the practical ports: USB for connecting to your system, a front USB for MP3, audio input for your phone/MP3 device, and two headphone ports so you can rehearse without disturbing anybody. From there, I demonstrate the everyday functions you’ll actually use: drums (not the nicest, but manageable), metronome, and touch response (this is one thing I really like—touch responds very well). I break down accompaniment/chord mode, sync (so rhythms trigger as soon as you play a chord), and filling. Then I go step-by-step on Split (it splits around the third F, and any tone change after enabling split affects the left-hand sound) and Dual (layer a second voice under your main tone). Finally, I show recording and playback, how tempo works depending on what mode you’re in, how to transpose (plus/minus steps), how to switch back to Tone vs Rhythm so you don’t edit the wrong thing, and I explain the three pedals: sustain/damper, a “hold one note” style pedal, and soft pedal.
