In this video I’m doing a straight sound demo and walkthrough of the Roland Fantom Kontakt Library, and I’m putting it up against what a lot of people already love from Yamaha-style piano libraries. The whole point is simple: let you hear the tone, realism, and playability for yourself—no over-talking, just performance and touch response. I play it across different dynamics so you can catch the character when I’m soft and intimate, and also when I dig in with heavier velocity. I also move through multiple sections so you can hear how the library behaves in real music situations: V.Piano, A.Piano, Pop.Piano, E.Piano, Organ, Guitar, and Lead (I left timestamps so you can jump to what you need). As a producer and keyboard player, I’m listening for how it sits, how it reacts to nuance, and whether it gives that balanced, powerful sound that works for worship, gospel, pop, film scoring, and live performance. By the end, you’ll be able to answer the big question—“is this better than Yamaha?”—based on what you’re hearing and how it feels to play.
