In this part 9 video, I’m inside the IL Remote Mixer Tab in FL Studio, and I’m showing you how that “mix” section works when you want to control your mixer faders and knobs from your phone. This section is straightforward: you get access to controls like low cut/high cut and other sliders, and you can jump between channels (channel 1, channel 2, channel 3, etc.) to adjust what you need. If you mess anything up, resetting is easy—just double-click and it snaps back. I also show you how customizable it is. For example, you can link a control to your master knob and even rename it “Master,” then decide where you want the label (top or bottom). By default you’ll see 8 channels, but if you want more, you just go into the mixer window settings and increase it to 16, then enable things like the on/off button and the scroll bar so you can see and control more channels. One honest issue I mention: the mixer tab doesn’t show your actual mixer track names—just numbers—so you have to know your routing by number, and that’s not very fluid. But once you understand it, you can use the on/off toggles and remote controls to speed up your workflow and move around your studio without being tied to your computer.
