Las Vegas isn’t all neon lights and casinos — and this turned out to be one of our best experiences in Vegas. In this video, we drive the entire 13-mile scenic loop through Red Rock Canyon, just outside Las Vegas, Nevada — but not in a normal car. This was our first time visiting, and we experienced it in an electric FUV (Fun Utility Vehicle), making the drive even quieter and more immersive as we took in the desert landscapes around us. Red Rock Canyon offers a completely different side of Las Vegas. Just a short drive from the Strip, the scenery changes fast — towering red rock formations, wide open desert views, and peaceful roads that feel a world away from the chaos of the city. Driving the full loop lets you see exactly what this scenic route is like from start to finish, and doing it in an electric vehicle really highlights just how calm and relaxing the experience can be. If you’re looking for a quiet alternative to the Las Vegas Strip, love scenic road trips, or want to experience Nevada’s natural beauty without hiking, this drive is absolutely worth adding to your itinerary. This completely changed how we see Las Vegas — and it might just do the same for you. 👉 Comment below: Would you choose this over another day on the Strip? 🎲 LAS VEGAS ADVENTURES: The Full Las Vegas Playlist ➔ https://tr.ee/HgFLPs (Binge-watch the entire series from start to finish) 👉 Subscribe for budget travel, vanlife & real-world adventures 🌍 TRAVEL PLANNING & ESSENTIALS Buses & Trains in Asia: https://12go.asia/?z=11180835 eSIM (15% OFF): https://airalo.pxf.io/c/6088765/2071037/15608 NordVPN (73% OFF): https://nordvpn.com/footstepstyretracks Our Favorite Itineraries: https://plannin.com/en?refId=FootstepsTyretracks 💳 TRAVEL CARDS WE USE Starling: https://www.starlingbank.com/referral?code=Udl4ja Revolut: https://revolut.com/referral/?referral-code=marcz55v!NOV1-25-VR-GB-MDL-CTRL&geo-redirect 🚐 GEAR & MERCH Our Travel & Vanlife Gear: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/footstepstyretracks Get the Merch: https://footsteps-tyretracks-shop.fourthwall.com Our Soundtrack (Epidemic Sound): https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/fpupd2 📸 FOLLOW THE ADVENTURE Blog: https://footstepstyretracks.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/footsteps_tyretracks Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/footstepstyretracks Support our adventures on Ko-fi ➔ https://ko-fi.com/footstepstyretracks (Exclusive updates, behind-the-scenes, and video credits) 📩 BUSINESS ENQUIRIES footstepstyretracks@gmail.com DISCLAIMER: If you make a purchase after clicking these links, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. About This Video

Las Vegas isn’t all neon and casinos — and in this video I prove it by taking you with us (Marc & Vee) out to Red Rock Canyon for the full 13-mile Scenic Drive loop. It was our first time here, and we didn’t do it in a normal car either… we did it in an electric FUV (Fun Utility Vehicle). After a very real “first fail” of turning up at the wrong place, we get the proper rundown on how the FUV works (regen brake, kill switch, parking brake, heated seats and heated grips), then head out towards the Visitor Center with the desert basically starting right on the edge of the city. Once we’re at Red Rock, the difference from the Strip hits you straight away — it’s so quiet it’s almost like your ears start ringing. We show the Visitor Center, the views, and then drive the one-way loop with loads of pull-offs and lookout points. The big takeaway: parking can be a pain because people race from car park to car park, but if you slow down and actually take it in, it’s absolutely unreal. We talk practical stuff too — it’s colder than you think (we ended up buying gloves and a jumper), there weren’t toilets at the stops (use the Visitor Center), and the entry was $9 for the day with timed entry. Honestly, this was one of the best things we did in Vegas — better than the helicopter for feeling close to the landscape — and it’s a proper must-do if you want a calm, budget-friendly escape from the Strip.
