Is it safe to walk the streets of Bahia, Brazil? 🇧🇷 We explore the coast, test a custom Osmo Action 5 wind mod, and visit a unique 4x4 truck build. We’re Marc and Vee, and today we’re taking it slow in the Bahia region. We started with a warning from locals about street safety, but decided to explore the local culture and South Atlantic coastline anyway. Along the way, we put our DIY 3D-printed wind protection for the Osmo Action 5 to the ultimate test in the windy coastal conditions. The journey takes us from the natural pools of the South Atlantic to a local industrial unit where Vee’s Auntie is converting a truck into a refrigerated mobile cheese market. We even find time to help with a quick DIY locking mechanism fix for the truck's steps. Stick around to see the incredible Jaua Reef—a natural harbour made of coral and limestone. About This Video

We took it slow in Bahia today — but, as you know, that doesn’t mean we stayed still. We started with what we were being told not to do: a wander through the local streets near Vee’s auntie’s place, heading up towards the beach while staying street wise. You can see straight away how people protect their homes here (those serrated wall tops everywhere), but honestly? Once we were out and about, we both felt pretty at ease. We spent a proper chunk of the morning in the natural pools at low tide, soaking up the South Atlantic, easing our mozzie bites with salty sea water, and just watching the beach life roll by on what feels like an endless stretch of sand. On the tech side, I put my DIY 3D-printed wind protection for the Osmo Action 5 to the test because it was properly windy. I even flipped the “wind cheaters” on and off mid-walk to see if you’d notice an audio difference. Later, we got a really local slice of life: visiting an industrial unit where Vee’s auntie is converting a truck into a refrigerated mobile cheese market. Being me, I found a little fault — the steps had no locking mechanism — so we talked through a quick fix. We finished the day at Jauá Beach to see the Jauá Reef, a natural harbour made from coral, limestone, and sandstone, smoothing the sea out like a giant breakwater.
