Our last day in Las Vegas didn’t quite go how we expected, and in this video, we’re sharing the full, honest story before heading home. We started the day visiting Count’s Kustoms, a place we were really excited to see. Unfortunately, filming wasn’t allowed inside, so we had to make do with photos and our impressions rather than a full walkthrough, not ideal, but sometimes that’s just how travel days go. After that, we headed back to the Strip and stumbled across Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina, where we grabbed a drink, sat outside, and spent a while just people-watching, one of those simple Vegas moments that actually turned out to be a highlight. Things then took a turn when we sat down for what was probably the worst meal we had in Vegas. After such an intense and exciting trip, it wasn’t the ending we imagined, but it did give us plenty to reflect on. This vlog is our real end-of-trip take on Las Vegas — the good, the disappointing, and everything in between — all before we packed up and flew home. 👉 If you’re planning your first Vegas trip, this is the side you don’t always see. Las Vegas wasn’t always LED screens and mega-resorts. Before the Strip became what it is today, neon signs lit the desert and defined the city’s identity. In this video, we visit the Neon Museum — often called the Neon Boneyard — to uncover the stories behind the glowing signs that helped build Las Vegas. From legendary casinos to long-forgotten hotels, each piece of neon tells a chapter of Vegas history. We walk through the collection, explore how neon transformed the city’s image, and explain why these signs mattered so much — not just for advertising, but for creating the iconic Las Vegas atmosphere people still chase today. If you love culture, design, photography, or classic Vegas nostalgia, this is one attraction that feels more like a living history lesson than a museum. It’s quiet, reflective, and surprisingly emotional — especially if you remember the old Strip. Whether you’re planning a trip or just curious about how Las Vegas became Las Vegas, this is a side of the city most visitors never see. 🎲 LAS VEGAS ADVENTURES: The Full Las Vegas Playlist ➔ https://tr.ee/HgFLPs (Binge-watch the entire series from start to finish) 🌍 TRAVEL PLANNING & ESSENTIALS Buses & Trains in Asia: https://12go.asia/?z=11180835 eSIM (15% OFF): https://airalo.pxf.io/c/6088765/2071037/15608 NordVPN (73% OFF): https://nordvpn.com/footstepstyretracks Our Favorite Itineraries: https://plannin.com/en?refId=FootstepsTyretracks 💳 TRAVEL CARDS WE USE Starling: https://www.starlingbank.com/referral?code=Udl4ja Revolut: https://revolut.com/referral/?referral-code=marcz55v!NOV1-25-VR-GB-MDL-CTRL&geo-redirect 🚐 GEAR & MERCH Our Travel & Vanlife Gear: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/footstepstyretracks Get the Merch: https://footsteps-tyretracks-shop.fourthwall.com Our Soundtrack (Epidemic Sound): https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/fpupd2 📸 FOLLOW THE ADVENTURE Blog: https://footstepstyretracks.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/footsteps_tyretracks Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/footstepstyretracks Support our adventures on Ko-fi ➔ https://ko-fi.com/footstepstyretracks (Exclusive updates, behind-the-scenes, and video credits) 📩 BUSINESS ENQUIRIES footstepstyretracks@gmail.com .00:00 - Start 00:49 - Counts Kustoms 09:21 - Back on the Strip 10:35 - Cabo Wabo Cantina 11:54 - We couldn't find the In and Out burger place 14:12 - Flying Home #LasVegas #VegasVlog #HonestTravel #TravelVlog

About This Video

Our final day in Las Vegas was a proper mixed bag—some big wins, and a couple of “why did we do that?” moments. First up, we finally did something car-related (because you know us… we can’t go on a trip and not see something with wheels). We headed over to Count’s Kustoms, and even though there’s a strict no-video policy inside, we still had a great time looking around. The workmanship in there is unreal—especially the paintwork—and the staff were genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. We grabbed photos instead, and we’ll point you to their socials and the show info if you want to see more. After that, we did a bit of last-minute shopping, tried (and failed) to find In-N-Out Burger, and ended up in Denny’s instead… which, honestly, was probably the worst meal we had in Vegas. Cold food, cold fries, and just not the send-off we imagined after such an intense, sensory-overload kind of trip. Still, we wrap things up with our real end-of-trip thoughts, our personal highlight (Red Rock Canyon in the FUV was next-level), and a practical flight tip: if you’re flying out at night, try to sit on the left-hand side for that final view of the Strip all lit up.
