Is RAFFLES in Singapore REALLY Worth The Hype

So today is my Birthday and I have a thing on my Bucket list, It involves Singapore and is the very reason we decided to spend a few days here. I want to drink a Singapore Sling in The Long Bar in Raffles. Quite simple really but I have bored people going on about this for so long. Well the day starts very similar to others with us heading out and walking to explore Singapore. We even take a Big Bus tour just to make sure we haven't missed anything. But the highlight of the day is going to Raffles. After we head down to the Bay to see the Merlion, one the way we see many locals enjoying their day in the Parks and in the Underground. Later on we find what is probably the coolest Chinese Desert restaurant I have ever been too, you really need to see this. Then in the evening we take a city night bike tour.
