We’re back at London Heathrow (Terminal 5) and we’re playing a little guessing game on where we’re heading—while also giving you our honest, no-hype British Airways long-haul experience in 2025. From boarding to the first drinks service (yes, there was vodka involved) we take you through what it actually feels like in the cabin, what you get served, and whether BA still holds up for a 10-hour flight when you’re doing it on a real-world budget. Once we’re in the air, I show you the reality of economy: it was seriously tight. Like, properly tight for a long-haul where you want to sleep and move about a bit. That said, the food surprised us—in a good way. The chicken tikka masala was genuinely tasty, and even the second meal was decent enough to “do a job” (although a bit sloshy). We also had the usual travel faff—extra security checks for me (shoes, legs, belly, the lot), and then we land in Las Vegas for a family wedding, figure out the Uber pickup, and end the day at the Luxor with a quick room look and our final verdict: good food, smooth enough overall, but the seat space might be a deal-breaker for us next time.
