What’s it really like exploring the Las Vegas Strip for the first time — and can you do it on a budget? In this video, we’re UK travellers seeing Las Vegas for the very first time, and instead of taxis and tours, we decided to walk the Strip from end to end. From breakfast off the Strip and sticker-shock prices, to finding genuinely cheap and free things to do in Vegas, this is our honest, first-day experience. We share simple tips like how to get a Las Vegas sign photo without queuing, where to find budget-friendly attractions like the Pinball Hall of Fame, and how to use free trams and the Deuce bus to save your feet (and money). You’ll also see the Strip transform from day to night, experience the Bellagio fountains, wander inside iconic hotels like the Venetian, and end the day with the chaos of Fremont Street. If you’re planning your first trip to Las Vegas, especially from the UK, this video shows what it’s actually like — the distances, the costs, and the surprises no one warns you about. 🎲 LAS VEGAS ADVENTURES: The Full Las Vegas Playlist ➔ https://tr.ee/HgFLPs (Binge-watch the entire series from start to finish) 👉 Subscribe for budget travel, vanlife & real-world adventures 🌍 TRAVEL PLANNING & ESSENTIALS Buses & Trains in Asia: https://12go.asia/?z=11180835 eSIM (15% OFF): https://airalo.pxf.io/c/6088765/2071037/15608 NordVPN (73% OFF): https://nordvpn.com/footstepstyretracks Our Favorite Itineraries: https://plannin.com/en?refId=FootstepsTyretracks 💳 TRAVEL CARDS WE USE Starling: https://www.starlingbank.com/referral?code=Udl4ja Revolut: https://revolut.com/referral/?referral-code=marcz55v!NOV1-25-VR-GB-MDL-CTRL&geo-redirect 🚐 GEAR & MERCH Our Travel & Vanlife Gear: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/footstepstyretracks Get the Merch: https://footsteps-tyretracks-shop.fourthwall.com Our Soundtrack (Epidemic Sound): https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/fpupd2 📸 FOLLOW THE ADVENTURE Blog: https://footstepstyretracks.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/footsteps_tyretracks Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/footstepstyretracks Support our adventures on Ko-fi ➔ https://ko-fi.com/footstepstyretracks (Exclusive updates, behind-the-scenes, and video credits) 📩 BUSINESS ENQUIRIES footstepstyretracks@gmail.com 00:00:00 - Walking the Las Vegas Strip | First Time in Vegas 🇬🇧 00:00:48 - Budget Breakfast in Las Vegas | Egg Shop Review 00:04:48 - Why the Strip Feels Quiet in the Morning 00:06:45 - Welcome to Las Vegas Sign | Photo Tips & Reality 00:09:54 - Las Vegas Harley-Davidson Shop | UK First Impressions 00:11:35 - Pinball Hall of Fame | Cheap Things to Do in Vegas 00:17:27 - Mandalay Bay Hotel Walkthrough 00:19:31 - Exploring the Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas 00:20:39 - Eating at Dick’s Last Resort | Vegas Experience 00:22:36 - New York-New York Hotel | Is It Worth Visiting? 00:27:00 - Bellagio Fountains | Free Las Vegas Attraction 00:30:50 - Shrine of the Four-Faced Brahma | Hidden Vegas Spot 00:33:06 - The Venetian Hotel & Gondolas | First Look 00:35:50 - The Sphere Las Vegas | Seeing It Up Close 00:37:37 - World’s Largest Gift Shop | Tourist Trap or Fun? 00:43:00 - Riding the Deuce Bus | Budget Transport in Las Vegas #LasVegasStrip #FirstTimeInVegas #VegasVlog #BudgetTravel

About This Video

In this video we’re doing Las Vegas the way we actually like to travel on a real budget: on foot, no fancy tours, and no pretending the prices aren’t wild. It’s our first ever day in Vegas as UK travellers and we decide to walk the Strip from the Las Vegas sign all the way down towards Fremont Street. We start with breakfast off the Strip (straight away you get a bit of sticker shock), then we figure out the simple stuff that makes a huge difference when you’re trying not to bleed money—like using free transport and picking the right “cheap fun” stops. We show you how to get your Las Vegas sign photo without sitting in the massive queue (it’s all about the angle), then we hit one of our favourite budget attractions of the day: the Pinball Hall of Fame, where you can burn an hour for not much cash and get a proper nostalgia hit. We also use the free Mandalay Bay–Luxor–Excalibur tram, wander through hotels like New York-New York and the Venetian (that fake sky is freaky-good), and finish with the Bellagio fountains as the Strip flips from day to night. By the end, we’re absolutely shattered—24k+ steps kind of shattered—so we tap out, Uber to Fremont for the full sensory “assault”, then take the Deuce bus back up the Strip. If you’re planning Vegas for the first time, this is what it actually feels like: the distances, the chaos, and the little wins that keep it budget-friendly.
