About This Video

In this video I tested the Skullcandy Method 360 ANC earbuds, and yeah—these might be a legit budget powerhouse. I daily drive AirPods Pro 2, so I used them as a “benchmark” (not a fair 1:1 comparison because these are way cheaper), but the whole point here is: what features do you actually get for the money, and are they any good? Skullcandy sent them over, but they’re not bribing me—this is just my honest take after using them for a bit. I start with the design, because the case is the big eye-catcher. Instead of the usual clamshell, it’s this rectangular prism that slides open and shows the earbuds on both sides, plus you get USB‑C and a little carabiner clip (carabiner? carabiner?). It’s not really pocketable, so I ended up clipping it to my backpack or belt loop. From there I go through battery life (it’s excellent), charging (USB‑C only, no wireless), and then the Skullcandy IQ app where you can customize ANC/Stay Aware intensity, touch controls, EQ, multipoint pairing, low latency mode, and even a “take a photo” remote feature. For sound, I’m not an audiophile—I’m just some guy—but I was genuinely impressed. ANC is solid for consistent noise, Stay Aware works well (with a faint hiss for me), and there’s an “off” mode that actually helped the most with wind noise when I’m biking. Final verdict: awesome value, especially on sale, even if I’m still sticking to AirPods Pro 2 for Apple ecosystem convenience.
