I love my iPad, but the battery life ain't great. Join me as I test it out in a day of studying for my instrumentation midterm. Halfway through making this I realized the vlog would be really boring because it would just be me studying, so I also do some other stuff too. Enjoy! About This Video

In this two-day uni student vlog, I tried to make the iPad Air the “main character” and ended up accidentally proving my own point: I love my iPad, but the battery life ain’t great. I used my 11-inch iPad Air with the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard all day on iPadOS 26.1, starting at 100% (100% max capacity, 82 cycles), and tracked it through an electricity lab (BJT circuits), library study sessions for my instrumentation and control midterm, and a bunch of note-taking and report work. By 3:18 p.m. I was at 5% and had to plug in—lowkey doodoo. I also show how I actually study: I use a magnetic matte paper screen protector when I want to lock in, I bounce between practice tests, notes, and lab reports, and I track focus time with Focus Pomo (not sponsored, I just like it). Day two is the midterm (thankfully it felt like the practice test), then the fun part: I finally pulled the trigger on a Bambu Lab A1 with AMS because I want reliable, plug-and-play printing for engineering projects and CAD stuff. The video starts as an iPad battery test and turns into a real “midterms week” reality check—with a 3D printer reward at the end.
