About This Video

In this video I’m breaking down my minimalist student everyday carry for 2025 — aka what I actually bring with me for summer school when I’m only taking one class. Normally I’m the guy hauling a big backpack, but it’s honestly been refreshing to slim everything down so it all fits in a tiny bag or just my pockets. The goal here isn’t “aesthetic EDC,” it’s just practical stuff that makes student life easier. The core of my setup is my iPhone 16 Pro (which I’m also filming on), AirPods Pro for noise cancelling, an AirTag wallet because I lose things constantly, and a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife that’s basically my mini toolbox. I also wear an Apple Watch SE so I can see important notifications without constantly picking up my phone (especially in class), plus sleep/exercise tracking so it can guilt-trip me into touching grass. The big change this summer is that I’m basically iPad-only: my iPad Air M2 11-inch with Apple Pencil for math notes, and the Magic Keyboard when I need to type. With iPadOS 26 beta and the new windowing features, it’s starting to feel like an “everything computer,” so I’m definitely going to stress-test this setup again when September hits and my course load is actually real.
