In this video, I share with you my experience in cutting weight for boxing. By cutting weight, I mean cutting water. The week of the fight I only focus on losing water not fat. This is not a sustainable weight loss method, I am depleting myself from carbohydrates and salts. I take a very "Ketogenic" approach in this last week AND I am in a calorie deficit. This final week I was eating hard boiled eggs, unseasoned chicken, kale, spinach, salad, avocado, green tea and coffee. When I water load I drink the following.. Day 1: 2 Gallons Day 2: 2 Gallons Day 3: 1 Gallon Day 4: about 50 ounces Day 5: Nothing till weigh in however, on the morning of the weigh in I was under weight so I started sipping on water and pedialyte. Hydrating properly post weigh in is more important. I do not eat any solid foods until about an hour to two hours after official weigh. I make sure I have fluids in my system before consuming any food. I like to break my fast with some simple fruit then little by little start introducing more solid foods. I only went to the sauna the night before weigh in to see how much weight I would drop, I am glad this weight cut went smoothly. I was never really suffering however I was very uncomfortable at times. My weight class is 135 pounds and I officially weighed in at 133.9 pounds. the following day I was back up to 145 pounds. Again, if you are looking for a quick SUSTAINABLE weight loss method this is not for you. Start investing with M1 Finance: https://m1.finance/MizncmAqSCZ5 Thanks for watching.
