Whats up guys, in this video I go over my favorite recovery tips. It is a little different than the traditional advice such as sleeping in, staying hydrated, getting a massage, stretching etc. This advice is more focused on mental recovery. Boxing is very taxing to the body, mind, and soul and it is important to dedicate some time to recover. Rest and recovery is just as important as training itself. If you cannot recover you cannot adapt, if you cannot adapt you can not improve! Always aim to be better than you were yesterday. Recovery tips: 1) Go for a walk and listen to an educational podcast--I love listening to podcasts from health to finance. Education is important, always seek knowledge like my coach says the day you stop learning is the day you die. 2) Read a book-- During training camp I read the most out of any time of the year. It keeps my mind sharp, I read close to 3 hours a day and open my mind to learn new things. Always approach a book with an open mind you can always learn from them no matter how old they are. "Don't judge a book by its cover" lol 3) Spend time with loved ones-- I love hanging out with my family. It keeps me happy and brings me peace. Knowing everyone is there for each other is amazing. I couldn't ask for a better family. I am thankful and fortunate to have them all in my life. I show you clips of my trip to the beach and enjoying a nice breakfast with my family. Also, FIGHT NEWS! Yup. I have another fight coming up watch the video to find out the details...it is definitely exciting! We have been gaining many subscribers lately and I am truly grateful!
