This is episode 2 of the Beginner Boxing Series. In this series, I teach Daniel, my little brother, and you, the viewer, the basics of boxing. This series is not intended to make you a professional boxer rather introduce you to the fundamentals of the sweet science. In this episode, I go over the Jab and Cross or 1 and 2. Everyone has their own style and preference so play with the technique to see what works best for you. Key things to know when JABBING(1): -Jab is your lead hand -Step as you throw your Jab -Chin tucked -Keep rear hand up to protect yourself -Turn your fist as you punch -Bring back immediately after landing punch Key things to know when CROSSING(2): -Do not step as you punch -Pivot your rear foot, this will allow you to turn your hips -Punch straight not across from you -Bend your knees -Do not let your head go above your front toes -Keep your lead hand up to protect yourself Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy!
