In this video I’m giving you my initial review of the Adidas Hyperboost Edge after getting a few runs in it. I bought this pair with my own cash (no sponsor, no nonsense), and I’m looking at it the way most of us do: does it actually feel better on the run, and is it worth your money. The big headline is the new midsole foam—Adidas are pitching it as lighter and more efficient—and there’s a focus on the outsole too, because grip and durability matter when you’re not just doing Instagram miles. I talk through the three big areas: upper, midsole and outsole. The midsole is the interesting bit here and it’s the reason you’d even consider this shoe, but I’m also honest about the potential fly in the ointment: the upper may spoil the show depending on your foot and what you like in lockdown/hold. Sizing-wise, I’m in my usual UK 11 (US 11.5) and it fits true to size for me. As always, I’m not here to be unpleasant—I just want to help you make a better choice before you hit “buy.”
