The TWSBI Swipe raised some eyebrows (mine included) when it was released in the States with TWO converters: a spring-loaded converter and a more conventional fountain pen converter. What I didn't know at the time, however, is that the TWSBI Swipe is marketed as an eyedropper pen. That means that you can eyedropper fill it, use one of TWSBI's new cartridges, or use one of the two converters that fit it. That probably makes this the most versatile fountain pen there is, as far as filling goes anyway. So a couple weeks ago when I saw that you can convert the TWSBI Swipe into an eyedropper fountain pen, I just had to try it. And it just so happens that this is my first time eyedroppering a fountain pen of any kind. But it was a great experience. The TWSBI Swipe is a great option in the lineup of budget eyedropper fountain pens. And this is another reason why I think the TWSBI Swipe is one of the best beginner fountain pens you can get!
