I have a problem with Blackwing pencils...

Blackwing pencils are a wildly popular option for premium pencil lovers. But there's something about that that I find problematic. I own a Blackwing 602, and it's very nice, and @Blackwing makes so many other pencils that are just lovely. But if Palomino Blackwing pencils are so great, then what's my problem with them?
