Pineider Matrix Fountain Pen: First Impressions of a Luxury Gold Nibbed Flex Pen

The limited edition Pineider Matrix fountain pen is one I never planned on adding to my collection. And then I won a giveaway, and suddenly this $2,000 luxury gold nib fountain pen is sitting on my desk. I'll leave it up to you to decide if this advanced fountain pen is really worth the price, but it does have some crazy specs that make it an impressive pen. It has a 14k gold flex nib, a spring-loaded clip and cap with magnetic closure, and the barrel and cap of the pen are solid sterling silver, and the whole thing comes in a large box handmade in Italy out of wood and leather.
