Monteverde Dakota Fountain Pen Review - An Airplane-inspired Pen!

The Monteverde Dakota is an intriguing fountain pen inspired by the Douglas C-47 Skytrain "Dakota." Its pocket pen design also takes inspiration from pens like the Pilot E95S, which has a long friction-fit cap that makes the pen compact when closed and full-length when open. This and the metal body of the Dakota make it a good option for an every day carry pen. Also, I think it's really cool that Monteverde wove in design elements from a historic airplane. I also really like the smooth and very fine Jowo nib that this pen came with. It's not a perfect pen, however, and in this review I cover both the pros and the potential cons of this iconic fountain pen.
