Monteverde Copper Noir is one of the best fountain pen inks I have tried--or at least it's one of my favorites. This is a somewhat water resistant fountain pen ink. It's also a shading ink, which is fun. The color is dark orange, with rusty, earthy tones. It's different enough to be fun to write with but understated enough to still be a professional fountain pen ink for the office. The IFT of treatment of Monteverde inks makes Copper Noir a wet, fluid writer in most pens, though it might not be the best fit for some cheap papers.
