Is the TWSBI Swipe durable enough to last a lifetime? Is it reliable enough to be your every day carry fountain pen? If you ask me, the answer is no. The TWSBI Swipe is a great entry level fountain pen for beginners, and it is a good work horse fountain pen, but it's too delicate to be dependable long-term. So is it one of the best budget fountain pens out there? I'd say so, or at least it can be as long as you are careful with it. But watch out for that clip! My vote is still for the TWSBI Eco fountain pen.
