The Kaweco Sport is an German fountain pen from the company Kaweco. It's also a pocket pen, which appeals to a lot of fountain pen enthusiasts. It's also a popular candidate for eyedropper conversion. So there is a lot you can do with this pen...if it works. I have heard mixed reviews on these entry-level fountain pens for years, which has caused me to shy away from buying my own Kaweco Sport. But more recently, I decided to pull the trigger and try one out. Even though I've read mixed reviews and some criticism of Kaweco's quality control, I also know of a lot of people who love to use and collect Kaweco pens. And for a lot of people, the Kaweco Sport is their every day carry fountain pen of choice. I decided to get Goldspot's exclusive edition for 2021: Ultimate Gray. It's an okay color, but I'm realizing more and more that I like bright colors and striking designs, so the muted gray wasn't as appealing to me as I thought it would be. That said, I totally would have kept the pen if it wrote correctly. And I haven't ruled out Kaweco Sports entirely. Mine was probably just a dud, and I plan on trying again in the future.
