About This Video

In this Saturday livestream, I mostly just hung out with you guys and talked through what’s been going on in my homelab brain lately—plus we set the stage for digging into the latest Selfh.st weekly to find a few new Docker containers worth testing. I also started the stream by being real with you: my throat was not happy, so we kept things flexible and just rolled with it until my voice gave out. That’s kind of the vibe of these lives—less “perfect script,” more hands-on chat and real-world homelab decision making. We talked a bunch about practical homelab stuff: exposing services safely, whether I’m sticking with Pangolin or moving back to Cloudflare Tunnels, and why Cloudflare’s DDoS protection is hard to argue with when you’re comparing it to a VPS. I also answered questions about Raspberry Pi limitations (especially around Proxmox, RAM, and ZFS), and why an N100 box is such a killer little Proxmox test server. And because I can’t help myself, I showed off some 3D-printed mini rack parts I’ve been working on—rails, keystones, and a black/white theme that I’m way too excited about.
