About This Video

Hey guys, how’s it going? In this video I’m taking a look at the Kamrui Hyper H2 Mini PC, and for transparency, Kamrui sent this unit over for me to review—but they get zero input on what I say here. I start by unboxing it, going over what’s in the box (HDMI cable, VESA-style mounting hardware, and the power brick), and then I walk through the port selection. Up front you’ve got USB-C, a couple USB 3 ports (these should be 10Gbps), audio, and plenty of ventilation. Around back you’ve got HDMI + DisplayPort, a single 1GbE LAN port, more USB, and the barrel jack. Then I crack it open and show the user-serviceable bits: 16GB DDR4 3200 (2x8GB), a 512GB NVMe boot drive, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and an extra NVMe slot for expansion. I’ll be honest—I’d never heard of the RAM/SSD brands in this one, so I’m curious if we’re going to see more of that going forward. For performance, the i5-14450HX absolutely chews through daily tasks, and I was able to fully saturate the 1GbE port on speed tests. Gaming? Temper expectations—no AAA here—but lighter titles were very playable. I also ran Heaven to push it, saw about 94W under load, ~1.7W idle, and I never hit thermal throttling. With Intel Quick Sync onboard, it’s a really solid option for a small homelab box or a mini Plex/Jellyfin media server—my only real gripe is I’d love to see 2.5GbE or a second NIC.
