About This Video

In this video I’m going over the Mega Game Dev Assets & Tools bundle that just dropped on Fab. You’re getting 40 items for about $30, and the listed value is around $2,800, which is honestly kind of crazy. A lot of the content is from Leartes, and there are some surprisingly solid tools and UI systems from Hyper in here too. If you want a fast way to stock up on environments, props, and a few “time-saver” systems without building everything from scratch, this bundle is basically a one-click boost. I opened a bunch of the packs inside Unreal Engine to see what you actually get. We toured a hyper-real convenience store (great for a shop sim or GTA-style open world), a Best Buy-style electronics shop with polished display props, and one of my favorites: the arcade / entertainment area with tons of machines, racing sims, and lounge props. I also checked out a hero rest animation pack (very Final Fantasy vibes), a hyper-real pizza restaurant, an office mega pack that screams old-school horror/anomaly game, and a post-apocalyptic urban scene with that yellow-sky California vibe. On the tools side, I dug into Hyper’s UI/menu + inventory examples. The demo is polished, and even if you don’t ship it as-is, it’s great to learn from—especially stuff like localization (super important if you’re going to Steam), inventory slots, pickup notifications, and decay/respawn behavior.
