About This Video

In this video I review the Ultimate Survival Kit Humble Bundle for UE5/Unreal Engine, and honestly the value is kinda wild: 34 items for $25 with almost $1,400 worth of assets. Everything comes as Unreal assets (with key codes), but you can absolutely import a lot of this into other engines if you know your pipeline. I also call out that this bundle helps raise awareness for the Girls of Code campaign, which is a nice bonus on top of the content. I walk through how to redeem the codes in the Epic/Unreal library (profile > redeem code), refresh your FAB library, and then I start opening packs in Unreal so we can actually see what you’re getting. I check out a medieval village/camp scene (looks super AAA, not really modular buildings but great scenery), a spooky old-school post office that’s actually modular piece-by-piece, and the “Geek Room” which… yeah, it’s messy. I also look at characters/animations (climber + geek girl rigged to Manny), a cyberpunk dystopian city with flying/hover cars, high-def vehicles, FPS device arms for true first-person setups, and the Forest Essentials pack—huge, optimized, and great for horror/adventure/Skyrim-style worlds. I didn’t cover every single item (the list is long), and I mention I hit a few blueprint errors on some driving props (ambulance/police car/motorbike), which could’ve been file overwrite on my end. Overall though, there’s a lot here if you’re building survival, horror, or open-world environments in UE5.
