About This Video

Hey everyone—welcome back to Code With Ro. In this video I’m going over the limited-time free FAB assets that were available up until January 27th at 10 a.m. Eastern. I cover three freebies: the Necropolis Graveyard Kit (available for both Unreal Engine and Unity), a sci‑fi mech (Unreal Engine only), and a Fantasy Props pack that comes in a bunch of formats (Unreal, Unity, Blender, FBX, OBJ, etc.), so you can even bring it into Godot if you want. After the quick overview, I open the packs up in Unreal Engine and actually look at what you’re getting. The Fantasy Props have a really unique vibe—some of it honestly feels like it’s straight out of Hercules or Kingdom Hearts (the little octopus with the orbs is my favorite). The mech looks super high quality with great lighting and detail, but I did hit a blueprint error when I clicked Play—could’ve been a conflict with something else I imported. And then the Necropolis kit is the big one: awesome moon/skylight, spooky woods, tons of graves/gargoyles/candles, and it feels like an open-world Diablo MMORPG zone. Overall, these are solid freebies to grab and stash for your next project.
