In this six month baby update, I’m chatting through how Freya is getting on now she’s hit the half-year mark, and I’m sharing the honest, everyday bits that you actually want to know as a first-time mum in the UK. I go through her sleep at the moment, what our nights look like, and the little changes I’ve noticed as she’s getting older and more aware. I also talk (yes, we’re going there) about poop, because it’s genuinely one of the biggest indicators of how things are going, especially around feeding and any changes. I then get into feeding and where we’re at with weaning, what I’m focusing on, and what’s been helpful for me as I try to keep things simple and not overwhelm myself. I also cover health and development—what Freya is doing now, what feels new this month, and the kinds of milestones I’m noticing at home. To finish, I share what she’s wearing at the moment and how her clothes are fitting as she grows out of things at lightning speed.
