In this month’s favourites (February 2026), I’m sharing the bits that have genuinely made life easier (and comfier) as a first-time mum in Oxfordshire, while we’re in the thick of baby life with Freya. I’m doing these monthly favourites right up until she turns one, so it’s a proper little time capsule of what we’re actually using and loving as her routines and needs change. I chat through a few really practical favourites, like a cute romper I’ve been reaching for, plus a hip carrier that’s been such a game-changer for quick ups and downs when Freya wants to be close but I still need my hands. I also share some home and organisation wins—like IKEA Trofast tubs, which have helped me feel a bit more on top of baby bits and general clutter. And because postpartum comfort matters, I mention a couple of clothing/underwear favourites that have felt more supportive and wearable day-to-day. I finish off with a sofa bed favourite that’s been handy for flexible living, especially when you just need an easy, cosy setup at home.
