In this video I’m organising Freya’s toys ready for toy rotation, because I’ve been rotating her toys daily for a while but everything needed a proper system. She’s nine months old now, so I wanted it to feel really easy to grab a small selection, pop it out, and then switch things up without the toy chaos taking over the house. I’m using the IKEA TROFAST tubs to separate everything out so I’m not rummaging through piles when I’m trying to do a quick swap. I talk you through how I sort the toys into the tubs and why toy rotation has been working so well for us at this stage. For me it’s less about having loads out at once and more about keeping it simple, keeping her interested, and making the day-to-day feel calmer. If you’re a first-time mum trying to figure out routines and organisation (especially in a UK home where space can be tight), this is a really realistic, doable way to stay on top of baby toys without overcomplicating it.
