Hi guys! In this video I’m finally filming my super, super late “what I got for Christmas” haul (I know… it’s basically the end of January, LOL). My haul honestly isn’t huge this year, and I almost didn’t film it because I was on a bit of a YouTube break and just not in the right headspace—but so many of you asked to see it, so I wanted to quickly share everything. Of course, it’s all vintage, and it’s very me: 1920s–1930s pieces, cozy little details, and a lot of old Hollywood energy. I start with the two things I got for myself: a 1920s cigarette holder that I bought purely because it’s actually a music box with tiny ballerinas inside (I don’t smoke and never have—I just love music boxes), and a super soft black velvet jacket with fur trim and a sweet, girly bow tie front. Then I share my gifts, including two gorgeous scented soaps (jasmine is my favourite), my absolute showstopper of a gift from my parents—a 1930s black coat with fur trim that fits like a dream—and the funniest, most perfect 1920s hosiery laundry bag my sister found for me. I also chat about the vintage fashion/history books I received (and a few I picked up myself) because I’ve been really focused on building my old Hollywood knowledge—especially 1930s style, glamour, and costume references.
