In this weekly reading vlog, I’m checking in with a proper life-in-my-30s mix: reading updates, a little self-care, and a full-on house reset moment. I share what I finished this week—starting with The Other People by C.J. Tudor, which I rated 4 stars because I was genuinely intrigued the whole time. I break down the three perspectives (Gabe, Alice, and the girl in the coma) and how the mystery slowly links everything together. I also reread Pages & Co. book one (Tilly and the Bookwanderers) as a refresher before I jump into book two on my February TBR—because I’m obsessed with the “book about books” vibe, the characters stepping out of stories, and the whole bookwandering concept. I also update you on what I’m currently reading: Immortal Dark by Tigest Girma (a Black vampire university story with tension, secrets, and what feels like it could be an enemies-to-lovers setup). My Libby audiobook was about to expire, so I talk about switching to reading with my eyes—especially because I’ve been zoning out with audiobooks lately. Outside of books, I take you through my hair wash day (rice treatment + my Garnier aloe vera picks), and then we get into the main reset: I move my bookshelf, reorganize everything into rainbow shelves, and accept that finding books later is a future-me problem.
