Hello you guys. In this video I’m taking you through my April 2026 TBR while I reset my To Be Read book cart. For February and March I kind of kept the books I picked in January and just added a few here and there, but I’ve been in the mood to pick up books that are sitting on my shelves—so it felt like the perfect time to refresh. This cart system really works for me because it feeds my mood reading: if I’m not feeling a book anymore, it goes back on the shelf, and I swap in something I’m actually excited about. A big reason for the reset is Magical Readathon (April Equinox). I’m loosely following it as a fun way to pick seasonal reads, and this year I’m choosing the Star Whisperer calling (dreamy, imaginative, attentive—yes, that’s me). I share my class prompts and picks, including Good Girl, Bad Blood for unusual formatting, Morning Star for the top-shelf prompt, The Thursday Murder Club on Kindle for the day-of-the-week title, Slow Gods for dystopia, and This Is How You Lose the Time War for “time” in the title. On top of that, I’m carrying over a few books, prioritizing my book club read, and adding series starts (and dragons) plus a romantasy because I’ve been craving something fluffy alongside all the sci-fi and epic fantasy.
