Hello you guys. In this video I’m talking you through my February 2026 TBR—and yes, it’s longer than January even though February is the shortest month, which makes no sense, but hear me out. I’m carrying over six books I didn’t get to in January because I’m trying not to keep refreshing my whole TBR and then “forgetting” books on my shelves. The whole point this year is to actually read what I own, and if something sits on my TBR for months with no interest, then it’s basically a “read this book or unhaul it” situation. I also share the reading mindset I’m leaning into right now: slow, enjoyable reading, relying less on audiobooks, and dropping audio if the narration messes with my experience. I’m currently reading Ordinary Monsters by J.M. Miro and genuinely having such a good time—so much so that I’m itching to jump straight into Golden Son (Red Rising #2) right after, because I’m doing a reread to prep for the next release. To round out the month, I finally use my TBR jar and pull three picks that are honestly overdue: The Mad House by T.J. Benson, The Club by Ellery Lloyd, and (after a hilarious fail where I wrote down a book I don’t even own) The Binding by Bridget Collins. These jar picks are officially going into a future “read it or unhaul it” video, so we’ll see who survives.
