In this Fully Booked LIVE Reading Sprints (February 2026 edition), I’m reading alongside my friends and the chat, and honestly—this is why I love sprints. We check in after the break, talk through what we managed to get done (reading, a bit of cleaning, cooking—balanced lifestyle things), and then we get straight back into pushing our pages. I share what I’m trying to finish during the sprint, and we keep the energy up by asking everyone in the comments what they’re reading and what their last favorite book was. The best part is the real-time bookish conversation that happens in between the sprints: we swap recommendations (The Will of the Many, The Last Dream Walker, Ruthless), hype our favorites (Empire of Storms was a full “no corrections” five-star for me), and get into trope talk—especially second-chance romance. I’m very much in the camp of “it depends”: what did you do, and is there actual character development, because we’re not romanticizing giving everybody a second chance. We also get into series life—how frustrating it is when you start something and don’t have book two, and why sampling on audio can help. And yes, we talk Samantha Shannon: don’t judge her only by Priory (I have thoughts about that ending), and someone needs to give us a proper reading order timeline for these prequels and rewrites.
