Hello you guys—Bookmas Day 1 is here, and in this video I’m taking you through the 10 books I picked for my December 2025 TBR using prompts 11–20 of my challenge. I’m trying to read more of my physical shelf (and also clear my TBR shelf that’s been staring at me for months), even though I’m still finishing a few November reads. December should be a better reading month for me because I’m going on leave by the end of the third week, so I’m hoping for a proper reading boost. I match each prompt to a book I’m genuinely in the mood for—because that’s what’s been working for my reading lately. I’m finally committing to This Is How You Lose the Time War (I tried audio before but it was moving too fast), and I’m also picking up long-forgotten shelf residents like Little Thieves and Gideon the Ninth (yes, lesbian necromancers—say less). I’m continuing my Throne of Glass obsession with Tower of Dawn, making time for a chunky Dan Brown, and adding cozy, festive vibes with Uncharmed. I also chose The Wild Robot as my “strange animal” prompt (I loved the movie with my family), and I’m rereading Fourth Wing so I can properly continue the series now that I finally have access to the next books. My goal isn’t perfection—it’s using prompts to guide a TBR I’ll actually enjoy.
