Happy evening, you guys—welcome to part two of my bookshelf reset. This one is very much a late-night “I look a mess but it’s whatever” kind of reorg where I clear out level two, clean the shelves, and start packing my books back in. I’m working alphabetically (I tackled my C’s first), and I’m trying to bring order to the chaos because I had books all over the place and it was stressing me out. I also push my books back to the width of my biggest hardbacks/trade paperbacks because I like to put trinkets and plants in front—and yes, my brain needs everything aligned and straight. While I’m reorganizing, I’m also doing admin: scanning basically every book into StoryGraph to make sure it’s marked as read/owned, and adding unread titles onto little colorful papers for my TBR jar. That jar is packed to the max (I literally ran out of blue for fantasy/sci-fi and started using orange), so this whole process takes time—hence the multiple parts instead of one four-hour video. By the end, I do a proper walkthrough of what I’ve shelved so far, including a bunch of Cassandra Clare, Sylvia Moreno-Garcia, R.F. Kuang, Holly Jackson, Brandon Sanderson, Samantha Shannon, and more, plus a few front-facing picks because the covers are just too gorgeous.
