We Tried Old-School Cane Pole Fishing on a Louisiana River

Step back in time with us in South Louisiana as we hit our local river for a family fishing trip like no other! On this episode of Bonded by the Land, the boys and I are bank fishing using traditional river cane fishing poles — the same primitive-style poles that have been used for thousands of years right here in the South. Just simple cane poles, hooks, bait, and skill...and LUCK! Will the modern rod and reels get brought out? We'll find out!
