Someone poured too much motor oil into the motorcycle, so it's time to get the precise amount out. We'll pick up the new shelf today, then fix the problem. Before I start the process of customizing the Kawasaki W650, I want to make sure it's running properly. So servicing the valves and syncing the carburettas are next on the agenda after today's video which entails draining half a litre of oil from the motorcycle. With the new metal shelving unit, I can store new and old motorcycle parts for the restomod project. **Goldtop Motorcycle Jacket Referral Link: https://goldtop.co.uk/?ref=BlueMarbleRider You pay no extra, and I get a small kickback from anything you purchase at this link - Thanks! **SUPPORT the BlueMarbleRider Channel with some Fuel or Coffee? https://www.buymeacoffee.com/bluemarbled It's much appreciated. About This Video

In this one I’m dealing with a simple but important problem on the Kawasaki W650: someone overfilled the motor oil, and before I go any further with the restomod project I want the bike running properly. Too much oil isn’t “close enough” in my book, so I drain out a precise amount—about half a litre—to get the level back where it should be. It’s a small job, but it’s the kind of baseline maintenance that keeps the bigger plans from turning into expensive problems later. I also pick up a new metal shelving unit for the garage so I can finally get organized—new parts, old parts, take-offs, and all the bits that come with a build like this need a proper home. With the oil level sorted and the workspace getting dialed, the next items on my W650 list are valve servicing and syncing the carburettors. This video is basically me getting the foundations right: tidy shop, correct fluids, and a bike that’s ready for the hands-on work to come.
