In this one I’m equal parts excited and nervous because the ultra-expensive, fully CNC-machined Fastec triple clamps finally showed up for my Kawasaki W650 Desert Sled / scrambler build. This is one of those “big domino” parts that decides the stance and the whole front-end direction, so I unbox them on the bench, look over the machining, and then start asking the real questions: will they actually fit the W650 the way I planned, and will my Motogadget speedo play nice with the setup? I walk through why I went down the custom clamp route in the first place—this build is DDM-inspired and I’m chasing a specific attitude and proportion, not just bolting on whatever’s cheap and available.
