This is a case of "If it isn't broken, then don't fix it." Some of you will have been wondering why I haven't been at the Sunday Coffee meeting, or why there have been no recent vids on the Griso. Well that would be because I decided to "fix it". At 20,000km I decided to change the oils, do the valves, plugs, sync the throttle bodies and then reflash it with a Beetle Map for the new GPR exhaust. Well, it didn't really go to plan... **Goldtop Motorcycle Jacket Referral Link: https://goldtop.co.uk/?ref=BlueMarbleRider You pay no extra, and I get a small kickback from anything you purchase at this link - Thanks! **SUPPORT the BlueMarbleRider Channel with some Fuel or Coffee? https://www.buymeacoffee.com/bluemarbled It's much appreciated. About This Video

This one’s a proper “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it” lesson, and yeah… I’m talking about my Moto Guzzi Griso. A few of you have asked why I’ve been missing the Sunday Coffee meet and why the Griso’s been absent from the channel. It’s because I decided to do a bunch of routine stuff at around 20,000 km—oil changes, valves, plugs, throttle body sync—and then I went one step further and reflashed it with a Beetle map to suit the new GPR exhaust. On paper, that’s all sensible, hands-on ownership stuff. In reality, it didn’t go to plan and I ended up chasing a misfire and a low idle that wasn’t there before I “fixed” anything. In this video I walk through what I changed, what symptoms showed up after, and the headspace that comes with realizing you may have created your own problem. The takeaway is simple: change one thing at a time, verify each step, and don’t assume a map/maintenance stack will play nice just because the internet says it will.
