I’ve owned and lived with the 2014–2019 V-Strom 1000 long-term, and in this video I walk through what Suzuki actually changed (and what they didn’t) when they moved to the 1050. I compare the engines in the real world—how the torque shows up, how the bike feels rolling on from low RPM, and whether the newer bike genuinely rides “better” or just looks newer on paper.
