This is the first device I have ever seen that combines the percussive massage and vibrational massage into one device but through different applications. The R3 Pro is certainly a unique design and may be a little awkward looking, but it does everything it promises and it does it well. It boasts the longest stroke length on the market and has a powerful vibrational massager to boot, all while being at an extremely friendly price point. About This Video

In this review I’m breaking down one of the craziest massage guns I’ve seen in a while: the Rapid Gun R3 Pro. I go over what you get in the box (big protective case, USB-A to USB-C cable, multiple attachment options, and a quick guide), then I walk through the design—because this thing is not a normal massage gun. It’s basically a three-in-one: true percussion up top, a dedicated vibration “mini massager” built into the bottom, and a fascia scraper you can use by itself or with vibration. The headline feature is the 18mm stroke length. I’ve tested around 175 devices, and the longest I’d seen before this was 16mm—so the R3 Pro is the deepest-punching percussion I’ve personally tested. Stall force is on the lighter side (I estimate around ~10 lbs) and it can stall if you really lean into it, but the punch from that long stroke is immediately noticeable. On top of that, you get 5 massage speeds (900–1800 PPM) and 5 vibration speeds (4000–6500 VPM), plus a pretty friendly price (about $200 with a common $30 coupon). My main knocks are the weight (3.21 lb), the big case, and I wish the buttons were higher and the head was adjustable—but overall it’s a legitimately unique, impressive tool for the money.
