If anything, this version of the Theragun Prime massage gun is a step backward as they have eliminated the case and reduced the number of attachments included by two compared to the Fifth Generation device. About This Video

In this video I tested the all-new sixth generation Theragun Prime and broke down exactly what you get in the box, the key specs, and how it actually feels in use. I show the new TPU rubber exterior (it’s rubberized across the whole device now), the fixed triangle handle design, the button layout, USB-C charging, and how the attachment heads swap on and off. I also cover the basics like battery life (rated 120 minutes), noise (it’s a quiet hum even on high), weight (32 oz / about 2 lb), and the fact that it’s a five-speed gun ranging from 1,750 to 2,400 percussions per minute. Spec-wise, this Prime is still 16mm stroke length with 35 lb stall force, which means it hits hard and gets deep—great for bigger muscle groups like glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves, and solid for post-workout blood flow or warming up. But transparently, I was pretty disappointed: there’s no case at all, and it only comes with two attachments (ball and dampener). Compared to the fifth gen Prime—which includes a case and two extra heads for about $40 less—this feels like a step backward unless you really care about the new app/“Theragun Coach” integration and the more durable rubberized exterior. My take: it’s a great-performing gun, but at $330, you should do your research because there are better values out there.
